Often students fall behind or fail because of problems in the process not problems in intelligence. Our philosophy of tutoring addresses both content and process. We stress that:

• Everyone can be an effective learner.
• The relationship between the teacher and the learner is the foundation of all successful instruction.
• Different learning styles require different instructional methods.
• The goal of all instruction should be to discover the approach to teaching that resonates with an individual learner so that they truly "get it".
• Once students understand the concept behind what they're being taught, they retain the teaching for the long term.
